Austin, Texas, February 9, 2026 — WP Accessibility Day, the nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing accessibility education in the WordPress community, today announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to bring a dedicated accessibility booth to WordCamp Europe 2026 in Kraków, Poland.
The campaign aims to raise $30,000 to cover the costs of a large, high-visibility booth where accessibility experts will provide free accessibility reviews, practical advice, and educational resources to WordPress professionals, creators, and site owners from around the world.
“Accessibility is often overlooked until it becomes a legal or financial risk,” said Amber Hinds, WP Accessibility Day board member. “By having a prominent presence at one of the largest WordPress events, we can start meaningful conversations, answer real questions, and help people take practical steps toward building more inclusive websites.”
Supporters can donate at various levels with rewards ranging from social media shout-outs and T-shirts to recognition on the booth wall and print materials. If the fundraising goal is not met, donors may roll their contribution forward to support the WordPress Accessibility Day 2026 conference or receive a refund.
Donations to the campaign may be made on the WP Accessibility Day website at wpaccessibility.day/wceu-2026. Donations may be made anonymously or with public recognition. Donations are processed via Stripe and can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or fast pay methods like Google Pay, Apple Pay, Link, and more.
