About WP Accessibility Day

WP Accessibility Day is nonprofit organization that runs an annual 24-hour virtual conference, “WordPress Accessibility Day.”

WordPress Accessibility Day is dedicated to promoting and learning website accessibility best practices for WordPress websites. Each event has a single track of 24-27 presentations. Attendees can register for free and watch live streams of talks with live captions and American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation.

Originally started in 2020 by the WordPress core Accessibility Team, WP Accessibility Day is now an independent organization.

Our Mission

Our mission is to demystify website accessibility for WordPress developers, designers, content creators, and users so that they can build websites that work for people of all abilities.
