Most accessibility training asks developers to think differently. This talk starts where they already are: their CI/CD pipeline. It shows how to add automated WCAG checks to a WordPress plugin workflow using tools many teams already know, including GitHub Actions, Docker, Playwright, and axe-core.
Using a real plugin example, it walks through how to catch issues before release without turning accessibility into a last-minute task. It also explores the limits of automation, including what these checks can catch, what still needs manual review, and how to make the results meaningful for a development team.
The session closes with a persona-based reporting layer helping developers understand not just what failed, but who is likely to be affected and why.
