About AccessMate

Awsm Innovations is a software development company with a strong focus on WordPress, open-source technologies, and web solutions. With more than 16 years of experience, we build and maintain WordPress products, plugins, themes, and custom solutions used by businesses and organizations worldwide. Our work has also been recognized with a Google Maps Platform Award for an innovative mapping project.

Our WordPress product portfolio includes AccessMate, a free accessibility plugin that helps website owners identify and address accessibility issues directly from the WordPress dashboard. Powered by axe-core, AccessMate enables WordPress sites to be scanned against WCAG 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, and Section 508 standards, with clear explanations of issues and guided fixes. It also offers optional AI-powered assistance for tasks such as generating alt text, suggesting code fixes, and explaining accessibility issues in plain language.

Our other WordPress products include HireZoot, a job management and recruitment solution for WordPress, and Embed Any Document, a widely used plugin that makes it easy to embed documents such as PDFs, Word files, and presentations into WordPress websites.

Beyond products, we also run WP-Content.co, a WordPress-focused media platform covering WordPress core, plugins, themes, security, hosting, products, and the wider community. Its WP Week Newsletter delivers curated updates to WordPress professionals, agencies, developers, and serious WordPress users.
