About Taco Verdonschot
Taco Verdonschot is a long-time member of the WordPress community. He has over a decade of experience contributing to the project in various capacities.
Currently, he works at Emilia Capital and Emilia Projects, where Progress Planner is their most well-known WordPress plugin. Before joining Emilia, he spent over 11 years at Yoast, where he held roles such as Community Manager and Head of Relations, fostering meaningful connections within the global WordPress ecosystem.
Taco is a dedicated Global Translation Editor (GTE) for Dutch, a program and event supporter on the WordPress Community Team, and an active co-organizer of the WordPress Meetup in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
Based in Wijchen, The Netherlands, Taco enjoys spending time with his wife and two lovely daughters. When he’s not with family or immersed in WordPress, you’ll find him connecting with people, organizing LAN parties, riding his trials bike, or driving his RC car.
