About Moira Kelley

After 30 years of working in higher education, Moira will retire from UW–Madison in June of 2026. In her most recent role as communications manager for a small admitting office, she was a university digital accessibility liaison (DAL). As a DAL, she worked with others in her division to inventory digital content, teach others in the division about accessibility, and coordinate remediation of digital content. Moira worked as the website manager for two university websites, both WordPress sites, and helped work towards accessibility for the sites.

Red Dog Editing, Moira’s freelance business, grew out of a love for editing digital content, including for accessibility. She looks forward to spending more time on the business in her retirement.

Moira holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Carroll College, Waukesha, WI; a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater; and a certificate in copy editing from the University of California – San Diego.
