You can watch via Zoom in your browser, a Zoom desktop client, or a Zoom mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After registration, you should have received an email from Zoom with your personal link to the event. The subject line of this email is &#8220;You are registered for WordPress Accessibility Day 2026&#8221; and it will have come from <code>noreply-zoomevents@zoom.us<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each person has a unique joining link; please <strong>do not share your link<\/strong> with anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"what-if-i-did-not-get-an-email-from-zoom\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What if I did not get an email from Zoom?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you do not see the email from Zoom, please <strong>check your spam folder.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Search your email<\/strong> for the subject line, &#8220;You are registered for WordPress Accessibility Day 2026&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have also heard from people who couldn&#8217;t find the email in the Outlook application but found it when they logged in through a browser. Please try this if this applies to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you still can&#8217;t find the email, please join <a href=\"https:\/\/join.slack.com\/t\/wp-accessibility-day\/shared_invite\/zt-3buzg5dua-4fbX84zzSebv34x7hsRMNA\">WP Accessibility Day Slack<\/a> and ask for help in the #participants channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"what-if-i-made-a-mistake-with-my-email-address\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What if I made a mistake with my email address?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you made a mistake with your email address when registering, you&#8217;ll need to re-register with the correct email address. Currently, event volunteers are unable to correct mistyped email addresses or manually grant access to Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-peach-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-peach-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"using-zoom\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using Zoom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"what-is-zoom-events\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Zoom Events? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zoom Events provides a central event lobby where attendees can join sessions, chat, and network. When you click the join link, you&#8217;ll be brought to this &#8220;lobby&#8221; in your browser. From the lobby, you can join individual sessions as they start. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joining a session will open the Zoom application on your computer if the app is installed, or in the browser if not. Sessions are run as Zoom webinars. Think of the Events platform as the tool that connects all the different webinars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"will-people-be-able-to-see-or-hear-me-on-zoom\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will people be able to see or hear me on Zoom?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. WordPress Accessibility Day sessions use Zoom <strong>webinars<\/strong>, not Zoom meetings. All attendee cameras and microphones will be turned off for the duration of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"how-do-i-ask-questions-in-zoom-webinars\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I ask questions in Zoom Webinars?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a question, please place it in the Zoom Q&amp;A module, as you will not be able to speak or unmute during the webinar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We strongly prefer that questions be placed in the Q&amp;A section so they are easier to see when we get to the live Q&amp;A. Messages that violate this rule will be removed, and attendees who post multiple self-promotional messages may be removed from the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"how-do-i-report-inappropriate-chat-messages\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I report inappropriate chat messages?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two ways to report inappropriate messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"report-messages-in-zoom\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Report Messages in Zoom<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s how to submit a report to  <a href=\"https:\/\/explore.zoom.us\/en\/trust\/trust-safety\/\">Zoom&#8217;s Trust &amp; Safety<\/a>&nbsp;team:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a chat conversation, hover your mouse next to the user&#8217;s name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hover over and click the ellipses&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zoom.us\/generic-images\/common-buttons-and-icons\/filled\/more-button.png\" alt=\"more button\" style=\"\">.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Report User<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>What happened?<\/strong>&nbsp;box, click the dropdown menu, and select an option.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>(Optional) Check&nbsp;<strong>Include desktop screenshot<\/strong>&nbsp;to provide a screenshot with the report.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Optional) Click&nbsp;<strong>View Screenshot<\/strong>&nbsp;to view the screenshot you are including.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Report to<\/strong>&nbsp;box, click the dropdown menu and select an option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>Submit<\/strong>&nbsp;button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"submit-a-code-of-conduct-report-to-wp-accessibility-day\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submit a Code of Conduct Report to WP Accessibility Day<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may file an anonymous <a href=\"https:\/\/wpaccessibility.day\/policies\/code-of-conduct\/#reporting\">code of conduct report here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"how-do-i-get-technical-help\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I get technical help?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you haven&#8217;t already, <a href=\"https:\/\/join.slack.com\/t\/wp-accessibility-day\/shared_invite\/zt-3buzg5dua-4fbX84zzSebv34x7hsRMNA\">join the WP Accessibility Day Slack<\/a>. This is the best place to get technical assistance leading up to, during, and after the event. <a href=\"https:\/\/wpaccessibility.day\/2026\/about\/organizers\/\">Organizers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wpaccessibility.day\/2026\/about\/volunteers\/\">volunteers<\/a> will be watching Slack on the day of the event, so if you have trouble accessing the lobby, webinars, or chat, this is the best place to tag us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please post publicly in #participants; do <em>not<\/em> DM an organizer.<\/strong> DMs may go unanswered if that particular organizer is focused on a different part of the conference or offline for a break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-peach-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-peach-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"post-event\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Post Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"how-can-i-give-you-feedback\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can I give you feedback?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can give us feedback on the feedback page (link available soon). If you have a concern related to the code of conduct, please use our <a href=\"https:\/\/wpaccessibility.day\/about\/code-of-conduct\/#reporting\">code of conduct reporting form<\/a> for a more immediate response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"will-videos-be-available-after-the-livestream\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will videos be available after the livestream?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Zoom Events platform will remain open through October 31, allowing you to continue logging in and watching videos until that date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Videos will also be publicly available after the conference on our event website. We aim to finish editing and captioning videos sometime in November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;ll send an email to our mailing list once the final videos, complete with captions. sign language, and transcripts, are published on this website. Stay subscribed to our email list to get notified when the videos available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"proof-of-attendance-for-iaap-continuing-education-credits\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proof of Attendance for IAAP Continuing Education Credits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zoom will automatically email all attendees who logged into the event an email one day after the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the past, IAAP has accepted these emails as proof of attendance for continuing education credits, and it is what you should provide them. We are not offering &#8220;certificates&#8221; of completion or attendance and cannot answer questions about IAAP credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have additional questions about continuing education credits, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessibilityassociation.org\/contact-us\">contact IAAP.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"when-will-i-get-my-tshirt\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">When will I get my t-shirt?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will order t-shirts for volunteers, attendees, and feedback t-shirt winners by October 31st. This gives us time to select t-shirt winners and collect their mailing information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Typically, people in the US receive t-shirts about two weeks after we order them. Shipping takes longer for other countries. We hope everyone receives t-shirts by December, but in some parts of the world, they may arrive later.
