AI is showing up all over the WordPress ecosystem: in writing tools, design workflows, code generation, plugin and theme development, accessibility scans, reporting engines, and emerging integrations such as MCP-based WordPress connectors. These tools can save time, reduce friction, and help accessibility professionals and WordPress practitioners move from blank page to basic prototype more quickly. But fast is not the same as accessible.

In this session, blind founder Simon Miner of Pedal Point Solutions will examine where AI can responsibly assist WordPress accessibility work and where it should remain firmly under human supervision. This presentation will look across the broader WordPress accessibility workflow: planning, content, design, development, testing, reporting, and tool evaluation. Attendees will leave with practical questions they can use to decide what to trust, what to test, and what accessibility professionals still need to do themselves.
